JACQUELINE FLYNN

Jacquie Flynn and her husband Mike Baker have two wonderful sons, Ian and Zachary, and have lived in Maywood for 23 years. She has been in book publishing her entire career and today is a Literary Agent with Joelle Delbourgo Associates where she represents award-winning authors of fiction and non-fiction for both children and adults.

She is an editorial agent who has negotiated contracts with major NY publishers, including HarperCollins, St. Martin’s, Simon & Schuster, Hachette Books, Bloomsbury, & Penguin Random House. Jacquie is a member of WEDO Bergen County, the Bergen County Democratic Committee, and the Maywood Democratic Club where she is currently Vice President. She is also an active member of Central Unitarian Church where she serves as the Chair of the Religious Education Committee. While her sons were growing up she was an enthusiastic hockey/volleyball/soccer/band Mom who served numerous seasons as team manager for travel hockey and led many fundraising campaigns for Hackensack High School Ice Hockey and Boys Volleyball. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University where she majored in International Relations and rowed on the Women’s Crew team. .
